L.A. Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention with Drew E. Johnson

Artist Drew E. Johnson will be joining writer/ publisher K.J. Kaminski and Big Blue Comics Sunday, January 8th at the L.A. Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention at the Reef. Known most for his work on numerous Wonder Woman comics, Drew E. Johnson will be signing advanced copies of THE RESISTANTS: The Broadcast Offensive #1 variant cover on Sunday only. We will also have a special limited edition print of Interval by Drew and THE RESISTANTS series colorist Ross A. Campbell. K.J. Kaminski will be there all weekend signing copies of the books and talking with fans. Check out more of Drew E. Johnson’s work
This is a great show celebrating it’s 40th anniversary at its newer location The Reef. Other guests at the show (not affiliated with Big Blue Comics) include comic artists; George Perez (Avengers, Teen Titans), Mike Mayhew (Star Wars, Spider-Man), Jon Bogdanove (Superman, X-Factor), plus Walking Dead celebrities, voice actors, Animation designers and more!

Drew Edward Johnson started drawing comic books in 1995 with Dark Horse Comics’/Lucasfilm’s STAR WARS X-WING: ROGUE SQUADRON. His work has since been published by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Walt Disney Publishing, Top Cow, IDW, Archie/Dark Circle, Boom! studios, Zenescope, DDP, Wildstorm and many more.
Drew is best known for his work on DC Comics’ WONDER WOMAN #195-210, #211, and #214, as well as WONDER WOMAN ’77, and SENSATION COMICS.
Other ongoing series work has included DC Comics’ SUPERGIRL, and Wildstorm’s THE AUTHORITY, and recently, Archie/ Dark Circle Comics’ THE SHIELD. Drew is also the writer and artist of MIDNIGHT SOCIETY, a creator-owned mini-series from Dark Horse Comics.
Drew lives in Burbank, CA with his wife, Animator/Director Karen Carnegie Johnson, their children Cole & Quinn and two hyperactive cats called Fred & George. Drew is a member of Garage Art Studios in North Hollywood, CA.
