Writer and publisher, Kyle Kaminski will be at the Ontario Art Book Fair on Saturday, March 28, 11-5pm, Ontario Art Museum in Ontario, CA. This free one-day event showcases regional artists’ books, catalogues, monographs, periodicals, and zines. The Museum opens its art galleries to 50 exhibitors including publishing houses, independent press collectives, artists, zine-makers, printmakers, and individuals practicing in experimental paper formats. Kyle J. Kaminski in San Diego Public Library Local Author Showcase
The Local Author Program highlights the intellectual and creative accomplishments of writers in the San Diego region. It is presented to interest readers and to highlight the diverse and abundant talent we have locally. A centerpiece of the Local Author Program is the Local Author Showcase. The Showcase includes print books and ebooks written by adults, teens and children. In its 60th year, the Showcase aims to bring exposure to local talent and nurture the pursuit of the writing arts in San Diego.
This year’s showcase features THE RESISTANTS: Bounty Hunter Blitz #1 by local author Kyle J. Kaminski and artist Jason Johnson. The showcase of books will be on display in the Dickinson Popular Library of the San Diego Central Library through the month of February 2026. Check it out!

30 years ago a group of high-school friends published their first comic, the Blue Extravaganza, debuting at the 1995 Motor City Comic Con. It introduced the sci-fi action team, The Resistants & more colorful characters and burgeoning creators. Now Big Blue Comics publisher & writer Kyle J. Kaminski (The Resistants, Sophia Saturn), artist Jason Krause (The Resistants, Wraith), and writer Josh Dahl (Rapid City, Skies Over Superior, Hyper-Action) are back at the Motor City Comic Con in Novi, MI November 14th, 15th, & 16th. We’ll have special deals, an exclusive variant cover, a presentation panel, and additional creator signings.

Celebrate the power of storytelling at Write On, Oceanside!, the city’s premier literary festival highlighting local authors and their work. The 24th annual event will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025, in and around the Oceanside Civic Center Community Rooms from 10:00 – 4:00.
Organized by the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation and the Oceanside Public Library, with support from the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library, this free community festival has grown into one of San Diego County’s largest literary fairs. Don’t miss this inspiring day of books, authors, and creativity in the heart of Oceanside.
