Long Beach Comic-Con Recap

Jason Johnson and K.J. Kaminski were set up in Artist’s Alley at the Long Beach Comic Con in Southern California this past September. Joining them was THE RESISTANTS co-creator Jason Krause all the way from Detroit, MI. Long Beach is always a great convention for fans and creators and this time was no different. It was a joy to hang out with him and a great weekend all around. We got to meet a ton of people and introduce them to our characters and work. We had THE RESISTANTS/ HYPER-ACTION preview and a couple of our new prints for sale as well as previews for all our upcoming books. Both Krause and Johnson were sketching and I tried to entertainer the attendees. We showed off our new banners as well as our prototype RESISTANTS t-shirts and action figures. They next one is right around the corner in February. We hope to see you there.m.

We got to meet a ton of people and introduce them to our characters and work. We sold a lot of THE RESISTANTS/ HYPER-ACTION preview and some of our new prints. Jason did sketches and I talked peoples ears off. We got a lot of compliments on our prototype RESISTANTS t-shirts and action figures. I can’t wait to come back next year with all our releases. Motor City Comic-Con Recap

We had a great time at the Motor City Comic Con in Novi, MI this past May. I had the honor of sharing a table with my friend and collaborator, Josh Dahl. We got to share our love for comics with a lot of people. Josh hosted a panel on writing comics. Josh sold a ton of copies of his book Rapid City: Below Zero that he writes and I letter. I moved a bunch of THE RESISTANTS/ HYPER-ACTION preview. My THE RESISTANTS co-creator Jason Krause stopped by and did a jam piece with his daughter. It was especially special for us being from the Detroit area. We found our love for comics in this area and premiered our first foray into comics self-publishing over twenty years ago at Motor City Comic con. We got to see a lot of old friends and make some new ones. Can’t wait to come back next year to this awesome convention, with new books and stories to share.
